Once a manor house and a small fresh shelter for farmers just before midday in the vineyard, Casa Rostagni is today a beautifully renovated mansion in the Langhe, partly used as a private residence and partly dedicated to the hospitality of curious people who want to have fun and appreciate simple, honest and good things, as is the territory that welcomes them. Facing south and surrounded by woods and vineyards, it is a farmhouse from 1834 revisited with patience, dedication and attention in the search for materials: we have renovated the old house with local artisans and with our work, adding comfort, modern comforts and design, respecting the authenticity of the place and who passed before us.
Casa Rostagni has space for friends, families, children and four-legged friends: it is a home away from home, ideal for those who want to rest, take walks in the hills, read a book, relax in nature, just a few steps from the village of Novello. The house is divided into two large apartments, with private and independent access and spaces.
We are 25 km from Alba, the capital of the Langhe and a few minutes drive from the most interesting Unesco Municipalities of Monforte, Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d'Alba and La Morra, an hour's drive from the artistic beauties of Turin from the villages of the Ligurian Riviera and from the mountain resorts.
The property is located in a small hamlet consisting of four dwellings, is surrounded by vineyards, hazel groves and woods and enjoys a large green space, a swimming pool at guests' disposal, possibility of paths in the vineyards starting from the house, discrete spaces and private, but also a convivial outdoor dining area shared with the other guests of the house.
You will stay in a 65 sqm private apartment composed of a living room with two large windows overlooking the courtyard and the garden, a large double bedroom (which leads to a loft that can be used as a relaxation area or a children's room) , a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen.
Outside, a gravel garden with deckchairs and an umbrella, a barbecue and a convivial table for 12 people sharing with the other guests of the house, a garden with a swimming pool, a pergola with tables for dining.
Guests also have a swimming pool (10 mx4.5m) with sunbeds, deckchairs, umbrellas and a shaded area.
The house has a large car park with 4 parking spaces and access to the house is completely independent for guests. The kitchen is complete with traditional oven, microwave oven, induction hob, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, espresso machine, blender.
In the apartment there is a multi-function washing machine, iron and ironing board, drying rack with grills, equipment and products for cleaning and laundry. not present in the apartment, but on request, a dryer.
The bedroom has a king-size bed, two types of pillows (the bed can be divided into two single beds, each 90 cm wide). It is possible to add a small cot for children under the age of two.
On the mezzanine ottoman and cushions and possibility of two / three floor beds.
The bathroom has a heated towel rail, personal hygiene products, first aid kit.
Present a TV with international channels and free wifi.
