As far as "enogastronomic" touring, wine country hiking and road cycling destinations go, this area cannot be beat. As a base from which to explore the area, I have a restored but still rustic country home on a hilltop surrounded by vineyards of the Langhe Roero and Asti areas, with views to the alps. Ideal for families and groups up to 12 people. Five bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, large family room / kitchen with fireplace. Outdoor cooking, dining and entertaining areas with barbecue and pizza oven, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, fruit trees, herb garden, 4 car carport, solar panels. A real home, not a hotel-style rental property. Short drive to Alba, Barolo, Barbaresco, Canale, Asti and less than 1 hr from Torino.
