The small town of Belmonte Calabro (about 5 km), which includes the hamlet of Belmonte Marina, is one of the most interesting and best preserved historical centers of medieval origin on this stretch of coast. The town is situated on a hill in a panoramic position and offers its visitors suggestive corners, houses built one after the other, narrow and winding streets that open onto small squares and, above all, a splendid view of the sea. From here, on clearer days, you can admire the Aeolian Islands and the Stromboli volcano, which is still active today.
