Casa Canonica is a recently built house ( far away from earthquake area and built according to earthquake standards) with traditional old oak-beamed Umbrian stone.The house is Standing on the Hills of Todi, in the Tiber valley natural park, it lies at the center of one of Italy’s areas of greatest historical, artistic and cultural interest, and outstanding natural beauty.

The Pool
Follow the garden path to the pool area and enjoy the views from the pool lounge area or sleep in the hammock while the kids enjoy the swings few steps away within olive trees.
The Surroundings
Monte Castello di Vibio, Spoleto, Perugia, Orvieto, Gubbio, Fonti del Clitumno, Lago Trasimeno, Lago di Corbara e Deruta are all within 45 minutes drive.
A 90 minutes drive will take you to the center of Rome

Casa Canonica
Upstairs there is an en-suite double room, a nice bedroom with 3 single beds (for kids!) and a third double bedroom that has its own access from the external travertino steps, and a second fireplace.
There is fourth bedroom on the ground floor with its own beautiful pergola, can easily be used as either two single beds or one double bed - just tell us before you arrive.
If you need a baby bed, let us know in advance.
We have one family bathroom with bath tub and separate shower on the first floor (+ the en suite), a nice bathroom on the ground floor with a great shower and a fourth bathroom in the basement next to the laundry.
The large kitchen on the ground floor is the heart of the house .There is also a big fireplace for the winter times.
A stone / bricks built BBQ area just outside the kitchen is the perfect complement to long summer Al fresco lunches and dinners.
Final cleaning (and linen&towels change) of 150 euro per week, to be paid directly to Fanny the houseekeeper.
