Summary: Front counter staff was excellent and welcoming. However when we first arrived we were given a room on the 1st floor: We are a family of 3 adults and 1 baby. The room was tiny but we tried to make it work. However, the long black hairs found in all three beds, towels and floor was a big turn off. The room next door were heavy smokers and our room as a result stunk like cigarettes and marijuana all the time. Very bad for a young baby. Luckily the front staff was able to move us to the floor above where instead of 3 single beds we now had a double and single and it no longer smelled like smoke. This was greatly appreciated. But please note the room itself is for two people (very small) but the hotel will say it is for 3/4 people and charge accordingly. Overall the staff was great but the hotel can definitely use some renovations. If you just need a place to sleep and go about your day this hotel will do, but if you wish to spend time and enjoy the hotel it is not quite the place. The location is very convenient to Plaça Cataluña, la Rambla and all things Barcelona has to offer. It is noisy at night if you are looking for a quiet stay, it will not be the best choice.

Summary: The staff is very professional and helpful, they are open 24h so you don’t have to be inside within a specific time. A bit loudly because if you catch people doing showers late night and you hear the water passing by but I had my earplugs so it was ok. Of course in the weekend outside is lively. Well located near metro and several supermarkets and restaurants where to eat. Good price and good comfort.

Summary: Good hotel at a good price. Nothing fancy. Twenty minute walk to La Rambla. Some nice tapas bars within a few minute walk. The area looks a bit rundown/graffiti-ed but many people of all ages out at night and seemed very safe.

Summary: One of my rolled up towels had a CLUMP of long, dark, straight hair. My hair is curly. Needless to say, i was grossed out. Walls are thin. Great location & staff is friendly.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this little hotel! Initially we were thrown off that you leave your room key with the front desk when you go out, but with a 24/7 front desk we actually found this to be really nice since we didn’t have to keep track of an extra item while out of exploring. This system also allows for housekeeping to know when you’re not there, and they came in daily to take out trash and straighten up our beds and nightstands although I don’t think sheets were changed on our 4 night stay that was not a high priority for us. Our toilet stopped working on our first day, and they fixed it without needing anything else from us the next time we ran out to eat. Very walkable to the Paral-lel Metro station, and thus we were able to get anywhere we wanted in the city. The extra blankets in the closet were a little raggedy, but luckily we had 60-70° degree weather and the comforter on the bed was completely adequate at night. There was also a small mounted TV that we could sign in to our own Netflix during our down time and wifi was great no issues there. On that note, there is definitely moderate noise from the street below but we were able to sleep just fine. Shower curtain fell twice and startled us, but it is just a normal tension rod so we were able to put back up without issue. Overall a really comfortable stay for this price range and getting to stay at a hotel vs a hostel, and would stay again when visiting Barcelona!

Summary: The staff cheched us in very promptly. The elevator was small for two people and luggage. Noisy building. Great bed and bathroom.
