Summary: we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the view from the apartment‘s terrace (which also kind of serves as an open kitchen on sunny days). through olive trees you are looking onto the gulf of stella with the town of capoliveri in the back. it‘s a ten minute walk up the (steep) hill into town with lots of lovely restaurants, winebars and lookouts. also ten minutes away down the hill there is a small (and stony) beach with a little beachbar. there are far nicer beaches on the island but this one is still worth a stay. the apartment is also a good spot to go explore the peninsula calamita walking or by bike. luca is a very friendly and uncomplicated host, who is always accessible when needed living just next door. certainly we will choose to stay with luca when back on the island!
