Location
The chalet-style residence is in the charming village of Grangesises, just a 5 minute drive from the resort of Sestriere. The residence is in the middle of the village, close to the small piazza. There is very little traffic, making it an ideal place for families with children. Grangesises hosts many events throughout the year, from dances to concerts and group mountain bike rides.
Sestriere, which hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics, has much to offer. In the winter months, the slopes around the resort suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. There is cross country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snow shoeing.

During the summer months, Grangesises and its surroundings offer visitors a rich programme of entertainment, cultural and sports events for adults and children. The nearby Sestriere offers an internationally renowned golf course (18 holes, par 65), a swimming pool and tennis courts. For the summer of 2023, the stages of the trial motorbike and enduro bike world championships are scheduled at the end of July, and in the first week of August the important international athletics meeting and the Sestriere film festival. History lovers should not miss the re-enactment of the battle of Assietta in July and the guided visits to the Fortress of Fenestrelle and the Chaberton museum in Claviere. In Grangesises and Sestriere there are many excellent restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. For self-catering, Sestriere offers supermarkets (the nearest is a 10-minute drive away) and small shops selling local specialities. Turin airport is 1 hour and 30 minutes\' drive from the flat.
