An attractive modern 3 bed home located at the edge of a quiet seaside village. Located less than a 4 minute walk from the sea front, the swimming pool and a selection of bars and restaurants. Ideal for couples, small groups or families.
The house is very nicely decorated and has an attractive private patio garden with seating, sun-loungers and a BBQ. The garden is enclosed and therefore safe for children. It also has balcony with table and chairs and views across the Mar Menor and the surrounding countryside.
The large communal pool is a 4 minute walk from the house; the pool has an electronic key for access. There is a café next to the pool where you can get a snack and relax.
We live just 10 mins from the property therefore you can be assured that if you have any problems we are just around the corner.
Location
Estrella de Mar is a pretty village with wide streets and a number of parks. The village beach club has a large swimming pool, tennis courts, table tennis, mini golf, children’s play area and a multi-sport zone; these are free for your use with just a small charge for tennis.
The local beach is sandy but the water is very shallow and not ideal for swimming. Some of the best Mediterranean beaches in Spain are located a 10 minute drive from the house in the Calblanque Natural Park and also in the area of Cabo de Palos.
The neighbouring village of Los Urrutias is a 3 minute walk; it has a supermarket, hardware shop, newsagent, several cafes and restaurants, a marina and a market on Thursday mornings.
Suitability for Elderly or Disabled:
The property is suitable for those with limited mobility as there is a bedroom and shower room on the ground floor. The downstairs shower is fitted with a seat and a grab handle. Please note doorways are narrow so it is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Estrella de Mar and the surrounding area is flat so the walk to the beach, the promenade and the restaurants are all on the level.
Bars & Restaurants:
There are a number of good, reasonably priced, restaurants and cafes in the village within a 5 minute walk. There are also a number of other Bars & Restaurants located in Los Urrutias (most within10 mins walk). Further shops and restaurants are available in Los Alcázares (15 minutes buy car)
