The Venetian apartment is situated on the island of Venice Lido with pitched-ceilings, exposed wooden beams and a two-tier balcony offering sweeping views of Venice.
The top floor apartment provides an authentic environment for you to live and breathe this unique part of the world. The 1920 building has a fantastic position giving you the best start to your holiday.
All the furniture is in a contemporary style and there is air conditioning in both bedrooms and the lounge.
The living room is large and bright and the floor is a combination of wood, terracotta tiles and paved in a typical Venetian way with polished crushed marble.
One large double bedroom with a queen bed; A second bedroom with twin single beds or can be used as a double bed.
A brand new kitchen has all the necessary conveniences such as dishwasher, microwave, oven, etc.
There are two balconies, one of the lounge with 270 degree views, the second on the roof with 360 degree views of the ocean, lagoon and Venice, Piazza San Marco.
Close to restaurants (Lido offers 2 of my favourite restaurants), shops and a couple of good supermarkets.
You will be able to wander around the island riding on your bicycle feeling like you left the busy world behind. You may feel like relaxing and doing very little. Our place is just a stone’s throw from Lido’s expansive stretch of beaches so you can enjoy the sun and have a Campari to break the heat. Or you may choose to walk or ride your bicycle and find yourself having lunch at the spectacular art-nouveau hotels, including Hotel Excelsior and Hotel Hungaria.
Why not go for a day trip and discover the real life. Areas such as Chioggia, known as “mini Venice”, and Pellestrina, both islands are well serviced by bus.
Lido is a quick vaporetto ride from Venice - one of the most beautiful cities on earth - but a world away from the hoards of tourists and street vendors who take it over each year. The residential island becomes a refuge for visitors, offering them a chance to relax by the Adriatic and mingle with the locals.
The gentle hub-bub of Lido ramps up during aperitivo hour, when Venetians flock to the bars for a glass of prosecco or a classic spritz and some cicchetti. At the beginning of September each year, the island hits fever pitch as international stars and journalists roll in for the Venice Film Festival.
