Once the home of a noble family, it is now a fabulous holiday rental for friends or family who want to enjoy the famously mild Ligurian climate at any time of year.
The extensive property is reached via steps from the road. It is laid out over 3 floors and enjoys panoramic views of the sea and the hills behind Imperia. The terraces offer shaded sitting areas where guests can relax with a book or glass of wine, as well as sun loungers. There is also an outside dining area for meals al fresco.
Inside, the décor is an elegant mix of antiques with the occasional contemporary touch. The airy drawing room includes a sofa, various armchairs and a flat-screen TV. Downstairs there is a more casual sitting room with a sofa and chairs. The main dining room leads off the drawing room. It has a table for 6 people and French windows which open onto the dining terrace. There is a second dining room downstairs, with vaulted brick ceilings and a table for 6. The kitchen is off the upper dining room and is well-equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and Nespresso coffee machine.
There is a full laundry room on the lower floor with a washing machine and good storage.

The villa is just a 3-minute walk from the beach and the promenade. A stroll along the seafront takes you past marinas, excellent restaurants and bars, as well as Imperia’s lovely orange and terracotta coloured buildings.
Away from the coast, there is plenty to see and do. There are extensive cycle routes in the hills behind the city. Alternatively, for some real adventure, guests can try canyoning in the Ligurian Alps, starting from Triora (1 hour 10 minutes).
For self-catering the Mercato Andrea Doria (Wednesday and Saturday) is a treasure trove of local produce, which you can then enjoy back home. Otherwise, there are many smaller shops and supermarkets within easy reach.
The closest airports are in Nice, France (1 hour and 15 minutes) and Genoa (1 hour and 25 minutes).
