Opuntia is a wonderful complex of Trulli and Lamie recently restored.
Through the narrow streets of the charming countryside of Polignano a Mare, you will reach Opuntia, a place designed to give each guest a holiday in perfect Apulian style.
A lush garden surrounds the house and frames the swimming pool, which enjoys a panoramic view over a land rich in fruit trees typical of the Macchia Mediterranea. It has a solarium area with sun loungers, an outdoor kitchen and a large patio to enjoy al fresco dining with views of the surrounding countryside. Two outdoor showers and an outdoor bathroom serve the pool.
The main lamia, the largest, houses a large kitchen with peninsula, table and relaxation area with sofas and fireplace. Service bathroom. An adjoining large patio has tables and chairs for reading a good book or an outdoor breakfast.
There are 4 bedrooms, arranged one after the other on the right-hand side, each with an outdoor patio shaded by a vine with seating and cushions; the beds are double, there is a TV and a bathroom with shower for each room. One of the rooms has access to a small private citrus grove, surrounded by stone walls. The fifth bedroom is in a lamia detached from the main body, also equipped with TV and bathroom with shower. The villa can easily accommodate people with mobility difficulties, as it is equipped with a bathroom for the disabled, wheelchair ramps, and the entrance to the rooms is wide enough for them to pass.
There is ample parking and an automatic gate.
In only 10 minutes by car you can reach the wonderful village of Polignano a Mare, with its lively historical centre and its overhanging views of the sea; as well as the small restaurants serving typical cuisine and the little souvenir shops. The centre of Monopoli with its sandy beaches is 20 minutes away by car, and Castellana Grotte, Alberobello and much more are not far away.
