You will be roughly 1.5 km (one mile) from the center of Positano, where you will find restaurants, shops and the beach. You will find the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line a few meters (feet) away.
Villa Carilla A is located on the first floor. You will reach it from the street level going up a private walkway that cuts through the terrace and includes approximately 20 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Carilla A. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, for a fee, in a garage. The parking space is suitable for at most one car. Private parking must be reserved ahead of time; we kindly ask you to let our staff know, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you. If necessary, you can park free of charge along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces). The terrace is 60 square meters (645 square feet) large. It features an above-ground heated jacuzzi pool with hydromassage (2.4 by 2.5 meters, 8 by 8.2 feet) with six seats. It is partly shaded by a porch. It is equipped with a masonry sofa, as well as with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, four sun loungers and an external shower. From the terrace you will enjoy a splendid view of the sea, of Positano and of the Amalfi Coast and of the small Li Galli islands at a distance. You will share the terrace with the other guests staying at the complex. The terrace is occasionally crossed by the owners in order to reach their accommodations.

Available for a fee, if desired:parking for minivan, van, SUV, station wagon, if reserved in advance EUR 40.00/week;parking for small car (Fiat Punto or similar), if reserved in advance EUR 30.00/day. Living Room
The living room is paved with original handmade majolica tiles. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming. The furnishings include a divan that unfolds into a double bed. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven and an Italian-style coffee-maker. There is also a washing machine. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a flat-screen satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the small balcony with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom
You will be able to enter the bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a desk. In this room you will find a flat-screen satellite television (local channels). The room has two small high windows that open into the living room. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a chromotherapeutic shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.
