Villa Celestia is one of those dreamy holiday homes that starts to relax and unwind your travel weary body the minute you step through the front door.
Tucked away on a private cul-de-sac, at the foot of the Montgo National Park, the property is within a 10-minute drive to Javea Old Town and, in the opposite direction, the Denia Marriot Golf Resort and Spa. Famous local restaurants Los Almendros and Montgo are within a short walk of the property, and the lovely Ermita convenience store with outdoor café is a mere 5mins away by car.
Step inside the property and fall in-love with the Finca style open plan lounge-diner, with its double height ceilings, built in log fireplace, and romantic mezzanine level.
Built on one level, there are a number of steps up to the two guest rooms and another up to the dining area from the lounge. Both guest bedrooms offer comfy individual beds, and in one, a small balcony looks out to the pool and garden at the front of the house. The twin rooms share a modern bathroom with spacious walk-in shower. The third bedroom, or suite, is on the same level as the lounge and has its own ensuite bathroom, and a pretty outdoor patio. The high ceilings and gilded iron headboard give this bedroom a relaxed, romantic feel. Each bedroom has air-conditioning, large built-in wardrobes, and views to the garden.
In contrast to the traditional feel of the other rooms, the kitchen is a modern retreat with all of the gadgets and gizmos needed to cook up a storm, or to make toast and a fresh cup of filtered coffee! A handy utility room sits at the bottom of a set of stairs that lead off of the kitchen.
At the end of the property, a glorious, glazed sunroom offers guests an alternative lounge-diner and views of the pool and gardens. Step outside to the large pool terrace, al fresco dining/BBQ area, to sunbeds galore and a pretty Mediterranean garden. At the front of the house, the gated driveway provides space for up to two cars.
