Villa Rudy is a spacious and comfortable villa set in the countryside between Monopoli and Castellana Grotte, a few kilometres from the splendid beaches of the Apulian coast and enchanting Valle d'Itria (UNESCO World Heritage site). The name Rudy has been a feature of the family for several generations. In the spacious living area of the lower floor is the original sign, “Gran Caffè Rudy 1860”, located in the bar area and dedicated to their famous family caffè in Monopoli. Indeed, the whole villa is a tribute to good living and good times, with plenty of space to enjoy, an internal and external wireless speaker system, a kitchen on both ground and first floors plus an additional outdoor one, perfect for barbecues and evenings by the splendid swimming pool. The well-tended gardens with emerald-green lawns are completely enclosed with the real feature of the property being the 4x10x1.4 m splendid private heated swimming pool equipped with a climate controlled conservatory which allows guests to enjoy the pool even in non-optimal weather conditions, as well as an elegant fountain and decorative lighting made from Grottaglie ceramics, celebrated throughout Apulia. Comfortable armchairs carefully arranged in relaxation areas allow guests to relax in style and a wonderful veranda on the first floor, accessible from both the house and the garden, is the perfect place for a convivial meal with family and friends. Indoors, comfortable furnishings and gracious décor create a homely and relaxed atmosphere and the practical layout includes three ensuite bedrooms on the first floor and an elegant master suite on the second floor, where a cosy bedroom with cot and kitchenette is a useful addition for anyone travelling with small children.
Interior:
The villa has three floors. On the ground floor is a dining room with large table and chairs, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a living area with Smart TV (news channels in English) and fireplace and a bar corner equipped with dishwasher, sink and wine cabinet. Also on this floor is a laundry room with washing machine/dryer and ironing corner On the first floor, reached via an internal staircase, is a kitchen, a living room with large fireplace, two double bedrooms, both with private bathroom with shower, a double bedroom (which can be converted into a twin on request), with private bathroom with shower, and a terrace for outdoor dining and relax area with sofas. On the second floor, the attic, reached via the internal staircase located in the first-floor living room, is the Deluxe double suite with private bathroom, shower and particular central bathtub, kitchenette with induction hob, mini-fridge, microwave oven and Smart TV.
Park:
Villa Rudy is surrounded by a private garden of about 2000 sq m, with typical plants such as holm oaks, cork, olive, laurel and flowers. Completely fenced and screened to ensure complete privacy for the guests. From the private covered parking area, in the shade of two centuries-old oaks, you come to the swimming pool area surrounded by a manicured lawn. The well-maintained garden is enriched by colourful ornamental plants that immediately catch your eye. The automatic external lighting that can be personalised by the guests, including the RGB LEDs that enhance the pool and whose colour can also be changed by the guests, makes the villa perfectly and comfortably usable during the evening hours, in every corner of the property.
Swimming Pool:
The swimming pool, which can be heated on request, is located about 5 meters away from the house and is purified with salt. 4x10 m pool with skimmers, entry steps, two relaxation areas with hydromassage, a shallow part, edged in local stone, lined in PVC, 1,40 m depth. LED spotlights with variable colours. Hot and cold-water shower. Open all year round (heated on request from October to May).
Pets: On request. Acceptance of animals to the facility must be previously authorised by the owner upon communication of the number of animals, size and breed.
