Summary: Claudia was an incredibly kind and hardworking host. Her place was just as described, charming, with Christmas decorations adding a warm touch, perfect for family meals over the holidays. I have many cousins in Norma- it’s a stunning and interesting place with an ancient city above on the crest of the hill. It’s quite traditional and tiny, with shops that close in the afternoon. Claudia’s place is rustic but clean with modern touches. The heaters kept us warm and we didn’t run out of hot water. The big dining table, fireplace and couch made the kitchen a cozy place to hang out. There was nearly everything you could need to cook meals in. All the apartments in the historic center are narrow, tall and have steep staircases- I expected this but fyi if it’s your first visit. I would definitely consider staying with Claudia again in the future as she was very sweet and quickly on top of the few minor issues we encountered.
