Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Third time we have stayed here. It is excellent and we highly recommend it. We did, however, have an issue this time.

Negative: We stayed in late-January 2026 on a night when the temperature was hovering just above 0 degrees C. We don’t mind a cool room with warm bedding, but got the opposite. With minimal bedding (and nothing extra in the wardrobe), we had to turn the room heating up to stifling. Because neither of us could bear this, we ended up with a cold, uncomfortable night.

Summary: Lovely place, but inadequate bedding on a cold night
