Summary: Camerino is closed completely because of the earthquake and will not be reopened in the near future. The hotel is first rate and in a beautiful setting but not really convenient for tourism on the doorstep. However, if you want a wedding or a small conference, it would be terrific. The restaurant is top notch and not expensive for what you get.

Summary: Very well-kept hotel with an excellent and busy restaurant. In an idyllic location in the middle of nowhere below the hilltop citadel of Camerino, you will need a car to get there. The closest taxi is likely to cost quite a bit. Breakfast is a bit basic, as is often the case in smaller, more genuine, Italian hotels. However, everything was fresh and the staff available and helpful. Would stay here again, whether on business or for leisure.
